From October 2020 Abdal Aziz (21) from Rwanda will be doing a one-year voluntary service at the Blumenwiese St. Hubertus kindergarten in Roetgen. Like many volunteers from Germany who spend a year abroad, he would prefer to experience this time with a host family. You are interested and have a free room? Abdal Aziz is already learning German, so knowledge of foreign languages is not a prerequisite. Provided that Corona has no further impact on the volunteer programme, it will start in October 2020. Since the deployment site is located in Roetgen, a good connection to Aachen and Roetgen would be a big plus. Please also contact us if a room is only available for half a year or the connection is not so good: there is a great solution for everything!

The weltwärts voluntary service is accompanied by us professionally and on a voluntary basis. Our regional group is not only the contact person for Abdal Aziz, but also supports the host family and the mission office in all matters.

Hey, here is some information about us, the RG Aachen:

• We are seven Zugvögel at the moment.
• We meet every two weeks on Wednesday, usually with someone of us in the shared apartment.
• Of course we always like to have interested people visiting, so just write us something if you want to get your own picture of us and our work!
