Leave a message for BEYOND Nepal!
BEYOND Nepal is a non-governmental organisation that was founded in early 2009 by a Korean (Seong Mi Jeong) and a Nepalese (Sachit Jha) to work together on various levels to counteract existing problems in Nepal. The four aspects on which BEYOND is based are education, democracy, solidarity and sustainability – and these can also be found in the diverse projects that range from the implementation of sustainable agriculture to health education and initiatives to strengthen women’s rights. BEYOND Nepal finances itself by running a café in Bhaktapur (a town near Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal).
A regular exchange of volunteers between Korea and Nepal represents a special commonality between BEYOND and the Zugvögel.
